HIRE A “MADE IN NY” POST PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

The “Made in NY” Post Production Training Program is currently seeking employers and productions with open entry-level positions for our graduates, who are mature, eager to work and hungry to learn more about post production. They have all completed our five-week course consisting of an Introduction to Post Production, job readiness and soft skills training, and technical training in industry-standard software. Many of our trainees also have extensive work history in the production industry. Wage reimbursements are available to qualified employers. For more information on hiring, download our flyer.

QUALIFICATIONS TO PARTICIPATE
  • Be a local New York City based post production business
  • Be in operation for at least one year
  • Have a current hiring need for full-time positions (with a minimum of 30 hours per week)
  • Have open positions that meet wage requirements of at least $15 per hour without supplemental benefits (not to exceed $25 per hour)
  • Have a clear need to train employees on the job during typical onboarding process
  • Have the organizational ability to hire the participant and manage the administrative work associated with training plan development, contract execution, and trainee wage reimbursement
