Requirements:
• Please arrive on time (click on the Zoom link 10 minutes before the start time to work out technical issues) and be prepared to stay for at least 90 minutes.
• 18+ years of age | 6 months of NYC residency and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Available full-time during training, Monday-Friday (7:30am-6pm)
• 2-year commitment to working freelance production hours in the television & film industry after training
• A valid driver’s license is required to enroll in this program (out-of-state licenses are accepted)
*No driver’s license? Those without a driver’s license are welcome to attend an info session and apply. Applicants must be 18-29 years of age to be considered for the “Made in NY” PA Driver’s Education Scholarship. More details will be provided at the info session.

NYCHA Resident Training Academy Information Session

Attendance of the Virtual Information Session is invite-only, for applicants who have passed the Entrance Exam.
Step 1: Entrance Exam
Interested and eligible applicants are instructed to contact NYCHA REES to be scheduled for the Entrance Exam. NYCHA REES can be reached at (718) 289-8100.
Step 2: Pre-Screening
Applicants who pass the Entrance Exam will receive a phone call from NYCHA REES to be invited to the Virtual Information Session. In addition to being emailed the Virtual Information Session Zoom link, applicants will also receive a link to complete the NRTA Applicant form which must be filled out prior to attending the Virtual Information Session.
Step 3: Virtual Information Session
Applicants should download the free Zoom app if they intend to use their smartphone to attend the session. Applicants will need to be on time for the session as virtual doors will officially close at 10 AM and no late comers will be permitted in.

To Join the Info Session:
You will receive a Zoom Meeting Invitation for the info session you selected.
Click the Zoom Meeting link or copy-paste into your browser. If you do not have access to computer audio utilize the Dial in Number included in the invitation and enter the corresponding meeting ID. It should be an 11 digit number.
Sessions start promptly at the assigned time so please log in 10 minutes in advance to ensure attendance.

Before attending an Info Session
Confirm that you meet our Eligibility Requirements
Confirm that you are available full-time during training
Confirm that you are able to make a 2-year commitment to working in post production in the television & film industry after training
Please arrive on time (click on the Zoom link 10 minutes before the start time to work out technical issues) and be prepared to stay for at least 1 hour. We look forward to meeting you!
