Looking for a career that’s both challenging and rewarding? We can help you connect to your future in low voltage cabling. Our graduates spend most of their day out in the field, sometimes on construction or renovation sites. They stand on ladders, pull cable through walls, and test and troubleshoot connectivity.

Applying to Brooklyn Networks is a competitive process. These are the key eligibility requirements:

  • New York City resident (6+ months)
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S
  • 18 years or older
  • Pass a drug test, be physically fit and able to lift 70lbs, and cannot be color-blind
  • Take a reading and math test at the information session, and score at or above the 8th grade level. Learn more about testing here.
  • Able to attend class Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM in Downtown Brooklyn
  • Be unemployed, low-income, or receiving public assistance
  • Comfortable with heights and crawl spaces
How to Apply

Attend one of our information sessions to fill out an application and meet with program staff to learn more about Brooklyn Networks. There’s no need to RSVP.

Brooklyn Networks offers four cycles per year:
