ARE YOU READY TO START A CAREER IN CABLING?

Looking for a career that’s both challenging and rewarding? We can help you connect to your future in low voltage cabling. Our graduates spend most of their day out in the field, sometimes on construction or renovation sites. They stand on ladders, pull cable through walls, and test and troubleshoot connectivity.

We invite you to review our eligibility requirements and learn more about this dynamic field in an information session.

ELIGIBILITY

Applying to Brooklyn Networks is a competitive process. These are the key eligibility requirements:

  • New York City resident (6+ months)
  • Legally eligible to work in the U.S
  • 18 years or older
  • Be physically fit and able to lift 50-70lbs, and cannot be color-blind
  • Take a reading and math test at the information session, and score at or above the 8th grade level. Learn more about testing here.
  • Able to attend class Monday-Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM in-person on the NYC College of Technology campus
  • Be unemployed, low-income, or receiving public assistance
  • Comfortable with climbing on ladders and crawling small, dark spaces
  • In possession of a driver’s license or a learner’s permit before the start date of a training cycle
