BOULEVARD TOGETHER – BUILDING PORTER TRAINING

THIS FREE TRAINING PROGRAM combines job readiness skills with the technical training needed to launch your career as a building porter. No experience is needed before training. After training, graduates will apply for work at the Boulevard Together Properties (Boulevard Houses, Fiorentino Plaza, and Belmont-Sutter Area).

You must fill out the online interest form prior to attending the online info session. Upon completion of the interest form, a team member will reach out to you to share an invite to the online Zoom info session.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
– Must be a NYCHA resident
– Committed to beginning full-time work as a porter/maintenance worker post-training. NOTE: Employer is requiring new hires be vaccinated for COVID-19.
– 18 years of age or older
– Have valid working documentation
– Able to lift 50 lbs. or more
– Perform 8 hours of physical work each day
– Available for full-time training Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
