NYCHA RESIDENT TRAINING ACADEMY CARETAKER J TEST OF ADULT BASIC EDUCATION (TABE) SESSION

When: Wednesday, July 11, 2018 | 8:30 am
Where: NYCHA REES 787 Atlantic Avenue (2nd Floor), Brooklyn NY 11238

The TABE is an entrance exam administered to measure reading, mathematics and language skills. NYCHA REES utilizes the TABE Level D Form 10 Survey exam for all applicants to the NYCHA Resident Training Academy (NRTA).

The Survey exam includes Reading, Mathematics Computation, and Applied Mathematics. The required minimum TABE level for NRTA’s Caretaker J training program is 6.0.

Interested NYCHA residents must RSVP for the TABE by calling NYCHA REES at (718) 289-8100.

GUIDELINES AND REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TABE

    • Must be a NYCHA resident on the lease
    • Must be scheduled for TABE by calling NYCHA REES at (718) 289-8100
    • Arrive on-time: Latecomers will NOT be admitted
    • Must have valid state ID to enter building
    • Be prepared to stay for at least 3 hours
    • Must be prepared with a pen to take TABE
