HIRE A “MADE IN NY” POST PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

Are you a NYC based post production business interested in recruiting new talent?

The “Made in NY” Post Production Training Program is a new program that supports the growth of New York City-based post production businesses by training New Yorkers for entry-level positions in animation, editing, graphic design, motion graphics, and visual effects.

PROGRAM TRAINING

Program Participants receive five weeks of training, developed by industry experts, in the post production environment, picture and video editing software programs. This is followed by three months of on-the-job training with local post production companies to help them advance into new careers in the media and entertainment industry.

WE ARE RECRUITING EMPLOYERS

The “Made in NY” Post Production Training Program is recruiting New York City based businesses in post production to participate as employer partners for on the job training placements.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOUR BUSINESS?

  • Be reimbursed for up to 80% of new hire wages during their first 280 hours of training
  • Develop a customized training plan for new and future hires to meet your specific business needs
QUALIFICATIONS TO PARTICIPATE
  • Be a local New York City based post production business
  • Be in operation for at least one year
  • Have a current hiring need for full-time positions (with a minimum of 30 hours per week)
  • Have open positions that meet wage requirements of at least $15 per hour without supplemental benefits (not to exceed $25 per hour)
  • Have a clear need to train employees on the job during typical onboarding process
  • Have the organizational ability to hire the participant and manage the administrative work associated with training plan development, contract execution, and trainee wage reimbursement
